Scholarships

We believe in you, as an aspiring young woman.

2024 Information

​

The Greater Oklahoma City Alumnae Panhellenic Foundation is awarding *up to eleven (11) $1,500.00 scholarships to high school senior women meeting the following criteria:

​

  1. Will graduate in 2024 from a public or private high school and have a permanent address in the greater Oklahoma City area which includes: Bethany, Blanchard, Bridge Creek, Cashion, Choctaw, Crooked Oak, Deer Creek, Del City, Edmond, Harrah, Jones, Little Axe, Luther, Midwest City, Millwood, Moore, Westmoore, Mustang, Newcastle, Noble, Norman, Oklahoma City, Piedmont, Putnam City, Tuttle, Western Heights and Yukon.

  2. Will be attending a University in the state of Oklahoma with National Panhellenic Conference sorority affiliations in the fall of 2024. Eligible universities include: Cameron University, East Central University, Northeastern State University, Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma State University, Rogers State University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, University of Central Oklahoma, University of Oklahoma, and University of Tulsa. 

    • If selected as a scholarship recipient, participation in the NPC sorority recruitment process is optional. 

    • Furthermore, if awarded, scholarship recipient must provide proof of enrollment from one of the listed universities by a date that will be provided. 

  3. Has obtained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 (unweighted). ACT and SAT scores will be an application requirement for 2024.

  4. Has demonstrated through activities, community service, academics, special interests, and work a commitment to pursing personal goals.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement,

extra-curricular activities, citizenship, and need. 

Immediate family members of Greater OKC Alumnae Panhellenic delegates are not eligible to apply.

Information Needed for the Application

​

  1. A copy of your unofficial high school transcript which must include your cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 (unweighted), and class rank (if applicable.) If selected, an official transcript must be provided.

  2. ACT / SAT Score

  3. Two letters of recommendation from either:

                        (a) Teacher, coach, counselor, or school administrator.

                        (b) A resource person in your community (minister, employer, etc.)

   3. A personal statement, to tell us a little more about you. Include one or more of the following pieces of 

        information:

                        (a) educational, career, and/or personal goals; (b) how your education will be financed;

                        (c) how you have or plan to give back to your community; (d) how this scholarship would benefit you.

  4.  A current photograph.

  5.  Signed copy of the Agreement as to Conditions of Scholarship and the Consent for Publicity - found here.

  6.  Resume or outline of all other activities-related information.

                        (a) Activities, leadership roles, team participation projects, and community service endeavors/hours

                        (b) Honors, awards and scholarships

                        (c) Jobs you have currently or have had in the past

                        (d) Hobbies

*30% of applicants, up to 11 scholarships of $1,500 will be awarded.

The word Panhellenic is derived from the Greek language. “Pan” meaning “all” and “Hellenic” meaning “Greek”.

Thus, Panhellenic is an organization of all sorority women dedicated to the purpose of friendship, scholarship, leadership, and service to others.
